EPCCS 2018 Management of heart failure is complex, as it often concerns elderly patients who have comorbidities. Good cooperation between primary and secondary care can benefit these patients.

Dr. Clare Taylor - is part-time General Practitionar and NIHR Academic Clinical Lecturer. Heart failure is her main research interest, along with anticoagulation and atrial fibrillation.
Dr. Nuria Farré - Non-invasive Cardiology Consultant. Heart Failure Unit at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Hospital del Mar- Parc de Salut MAR.
Dr. Frans Rutten - Assistant professor at Department of General Practice of Julius Center, UMC Utrecht. His main interest is in cardiac diseases, especially heart failure. The domain is mainly primary care, and the focus diagnostic and prognostic research.
