There are significant differences in primary care between countries, reflecting varying healthcare systems, cultural practices, and policies. To accomodate and address the different needs in Europe the EPCCS adopted in 2017 a new structure that ensures a representation of multiple countries and the design of a common focus addressing the challenges in reducing the burden of cardiovascular, cardiorenal and cardiometabolic diseases.
