Randomised trial stopped early for safety after 602 of 1,474 planned patients with AF and myocardial infarction: DOAC plus one month of prasugrel or ticagrelor versus DOAC plus clopidogrel (with in-hospital aspirin). BARC 3 or higher bleeding HR 3.54 (95% CI 1.15 to 10.85, p=0.028) within six weeks, with no difference in ischaemic outcomes at six weeks or six months.
