International open-label phase 4 trial: 2,161 patients with high-risk acute MI undergoing PCI, evolocumab 140 mg every two weeks for one year with the first dose given before PCI, versus standard care. LDL-C under 55 mg/dL plus at least 50 percent reduction at 12 months: 82 versus 40 percent (adjusted OR 5.54, 95% CI 4.50 to 6.82, p under 0.001).
